FNaF Fandom talk.
this isn't targeted towards anyone in particular but it's something I've been seeing a lot and it makes me genuinely just sad.
So I've been seeing a recent trend of people calling MikeVictim the worst theory ever made by the fandom which sometimes makes me laugh my ass off (the adult theory is right there bro) and other times just makes me upset, it's a reoccurring thing I've seen where MV is the butt of the joke, "the dumb theory" or "just cherry-picking evidence" when it's not? I think a lot of this comes from the fact that aside from the FNaF theories wiki page for it and a Google doc from 2022 no one's gone over it (no "it's michael but he's the crying child" doesn't count that's just the fucking basis not any evidence for why it's possible) so people can say whatever they want about it and have people just follow it and that has fostered a very toxic environment about MV to the point Tumblr and the fucking FNaF theories wiki are the only place I feel comfortable mentioning how I prefer MV to MB. "Star isn't that overdramatic?" no because I've been called delusional and stupid and an idiot for saying Step Closer proves jackshit and I've been told to fucking KILL MYSELF because I dared to say MikeBro wasn't confirmed. Yeah sure I'm just being overdramatic about this. But seriously it's just sad that FNaF a theory based series is one of the WORST fandoms when it comes to sharing theories you like and sure I've arguably been part of that (in the case of "Bro this theory is stupid/All of these David is ___ theories has made me hate this kid" and other such I think this is dumb esc remarks) but I don't do it in a hostile way I do it in a way to just share my thoughts. But seriously can we stop the normalization of "I don't like theory so someone who believes it should fucking DIE" type of thinking?
Also super not MikeVictim related but that one time someone said on my CassidyAfton blog post on the FNaF Theories Wiki and I quote "If CassidySis's page was like this, I probably would have hanged myself by now because of how awful it is lmao" edited it to get rid of the 's and then edited it again FOUR MINUTES LATER to say "Giant walls of text ≠ Good page." with zero elaboration is one of the "highlights" of this year for me..
