auspicious set of character tags honestly. good for them
“there is no straight explanation for this” neither is there a gay one. there is however an aromantic one
"just be normal about *fictional character*" no. never. in fact, you all need to get WEIRDER about them. ship the weird ships, write weird fanfics, become the cringe fan like the sans fangirl epidemic
FANDOM IS FOR WEIRDOS!!!!
Man, if I had a nickel everytime a fandom gets mad at black fans being upset when its revealed some of the cast of the media they consume made racist comments/jokes in the past, I'd have SO MANY nickels
The thing I miss about Trigun 98 Wolfwood the most (besides the obvious: his skin colour and hooked nose) was that weird, Ramona Flowers, enby haircut he had
Oh, Wokewood,,, you will forever be missed
The death of fandom is happening everywhere. People don’t want to reblog or share things anymore. They just like and keep going.
It’s extremely demotivating when you’ve worked so hard on something, post a promo or sneak peek, and get crickets in response. I miss the old days of fandom when normies hadn’t invaded our safe spaces and reduced it to just mindlessly scrolling paired with occasionally liking something.
It’s like people are afraid to reblog or share stuff anymore, on every platform, whether that be Twitter, Discord, here, or elsewhere.
It’s honestly so sad.
It has even hit the Yautja one over the past half decade. I feel like all the excitement and joy has bled out.
That’s partially why I stopped writing Yautja x Readers here. People stopped giving a shit and I hated feeling like nothing I posted was good enough to get a reblog. Without interaction, the motivation shrivels up and dies.
