Ezra and Cassie had a strong work friendship, although seeing how most of their conversations are interrupted by calls or other duties they have to attend to - Ezra thought it was better to spend time with his friend outside of work. At least there, they wouldn’t have to rush off to save people. Ergo, Ezra texted Cassie that he was driving over to her place soon, so be ready shortly. Truthfully, he couldn’t lie and say that he wasn’t excited for this hangout because he is - after all, they would have an interrupted conversation and hang out. Or so Ezra hoped. Texting the other that he was outside, he waited in his unlocked for the other.
