Happy Lunar New Year!
My girls who celebrate wanted to wish you success in the year of the tiger!
Merry Christmas and Happy Holidays from Kit, Ruthie, Molly, Courtney, and Cassiopeia!
I had planned on spacing these out more, but life got in the way so the final girls will share a post.
First off, Kit, the girl who started it all! She's wearing her Christmas dress (without her pin which I lost as a kid). She has her Amelia doll and stocking.
Ruthie naturally is with Kit and has her holiday dress, a lantern, and a sock monkey!
Good golly, miss Molly, it's Christmas! She's wearing a replica of her holiday dress and her Beforever shoes and socks.
Courtney is having a rad Christmas and dreaming of a doll under the tree. She has an off-brand sweater, her jeans, meet shoes, and several of her accessories.
Cassie is awaiting Christmas in her Holiday Bibs. She also has some tiny teddy clips in her hair (which were mine as a kid).
Everyone have a very Merry Christmas if you celebrate!
Happy Lunar New Year!
Both Z and Cassie are celebrating lunar new year according to their cultures' traditions.
Cassie is celebrating the Spring Festival (or Chinese New Year), a time to spend with family and to honor your ancestors.
Z is celebrating Seollal (or Korean New Year), a family centered festival during which all Koreans turn a year older.
They both want to wish you health and happiness in the coming year.
Pajama time!
Today and yesterday I put all my historical girls in their PJs (except for Kaya who doesn't wear them. She put on her winter gear instead.) I find it interesting how pajamas were so consistent until Sam and Nellie's time where there was a split from white nightgowns.
Here's what each girl is wearing:
Kaya: meet outfit and winter accessories
Felicity: meet shift
Caroline: her nightgown
Kirsten: St. Lucia outfit with sash tied behind her (I want to get her nightgown)
Addy: homemade Samantha nightgown (I want her historical nightgown)
Samantha: her historical nightgown
Nellie: her pjs
Rosalyn: Kit's nightgown (I want Rebecca's purple pj's for her since I saw a 1920's ad for an identical pair)
Kit: her beach pajamas
Ruthie: her pajamas
Molly: her BeForever pj's
Courtney: her Carebear nightgown
Cassiopeia: 1998 AG boxer pj's
My updated historical collection!
I'm so happy with how they all look together😍
Happy Dolloween! Today's prompt is fall fashion so Cassiopeia is wearing one of my all time favorite fall outfits the First Day Outfit. The colors, fleece, and corduroy all make me think of fall! Of course she's dressed a bit warmly for today where I live as it's in the 70s but nevermind that!
It's doll of color month on Instagram so I took this picture of my dolls of color. I actually got three of these dolls this year.
Back row is Kaya, Persephone (tm58), and Cassiopeia (tm4).
Front row is Marisol, Isadora (heart4hearts), and Luciana.
Weird thing I noticed while setting this up: my Kaya is really short and Cassiopeia is quite tall. It's amazing the variation in heights.
