My mother-in-law got me Kit 😭
I was never super partial to her until I saw someone post a picture of theirs on the AG subreddit and I thought she was one of the cutest things I'd ever seen - I love the special birthday edition's face mold apparently!
She's such a little cupcake!
It's funny how there are dolls I never thought I'd get attached to but then I love them once I see them in non-stock photos; and dolls I thought I'd love based on the stock photos that I didn't end up liking as much?

There’s always someone out there waiting for the healed you to return
So I know there's an adult Samantha Parkington book coming out later this year (which I'm beyond hyped for because Samantha was always my favorite) but I really need this to be a whole series that catches up with each of the girls when they're grown up since there's SO much potential to this idea. I specifically have a whole pitch for a Kit novel (be warned I've been an annoyances-to-lovers Kit/Stirling truther since I was like, 10 so this is meant to be as dramatic as possible 🤣):
It's the 1940s, and Kit is now trying to make it as a journalist. Maybe she manages to get in as a war correspondent, which is great for her, because of course the risks are worth it if she's the one taking them. But Kit being Kit, when she learns that Stirling (who has finally grown into himself and is no longer the sickly boy he used to be) has decided to enlist, all of a sudden the risks are suddenly "too dangerous" and now she's really mad about it. She's obviously just worried but it comes out all wrong, so as usual they get into some kind of fight that isn't fully resolved before they have to go their separate ways. Because of this, part of the narrative consists of some really awkward letters that dance around the "I'm worried about you because I CARE" issue without ever explicitly stating this. Then at some point Stirling goes MIA (like I said, my inner child wants this to be as dramatic as possible) and Kit is beating herself up for not apologizing to him (and also not admitting that maybe? she has feelings). Ruthie is obviously involved in this story too, being very active on the home front, so there's a ton of letters back and forth between her and Kit where Kit starts unloading all of her worries about Stirling. I have no idea where this would go from here aside from everyone eventually being reunited and Kit and Stirling finally deciding to stop being stupid and getting engaged (?) plus a time jump or something to the end of the war where they're married because 10 y/o me demands this. AG I'm just saying if you want to hire me I'm available
Brought Kit with me to see Hadestown last weekend!! (featuring a Regal commercial in the background because the lighting sucked when i tried to take her pic on my seat)
We felt like wearing our own clothes today
*Except Kirsten and Blaire because I don't have any of their clothes
