their  relationship  was  a  whirlwind  ,  it  was  like  a  storm  that  never  fully  calmed  down  no  matter  how  many  times  it  seemed  like  it  did  .  the  two of  them  both  knew  their  habits  were  unhealthy  ,  but  at  the  same  time  ,  alanna  couldn’t  imagine  not  having  cassius  in  her  life  .  it  was  like  ,  she  wouldn’t  be  able  to  breathe  otherwise  .  she  was  grateful  that  they  were  on  good  terms  ,  currently  ,  anyway  .  it  usually  didn’t  last  that  long  ,  both  of  them  being  such  hard  heads  ,  they  clashed  constantly  .  but  she  always  knew   that  no  matter  what  he  would  be  there   ,  &  she  hoped  he  knew  it  was  the  same  for  her   .   alanna  was  always  able  to  cope  with   her   problems  on  her  own  ,  or  at  least  in  the  company  of  her  favorite  substances  .  but  there  were  always  times  even  that  couldn’t  make  the  horrible  feelings  disappear  ,  especially  when  it  came  to  her  dad.  he  was  one  of  the  biggest  triggers  for  alanna  ,  the  one  she’s  struggled  most  to  cope  with  .  there  were  times  where  she  just  needed  someone  else  besides  herself  ,  someone  who  understood  .  which  is  exactly  why  she  finds  herself  knocking  on  cassius’  door  much  too  late  to  be  doing  so  .  the  drugs  weren’t  working ,  she  couldn’t  shake  the  feeling  she  got  after  fighting  with  her  dad  earlier  in  the  night  .  “   cass  ,  i  need  you  ,  ”   alanna  mutters  softly  as  they  come  face  to  face  .
