Rating for the day: D What have I done today?
Unproductive work, settling directors’ resolution to collect all the signatures and to revise MIDA’s figures.
Exciting Stuffs (E), Problem faced (P), Action Taken (A) and Lesson Learnt (L) (P) Couldn’t get the MIDA figures due to the communication breakdown with my colleague. The colleague do not understand what I wanted and I’ve got confused with the figures too.
(A) To clarify and check with MIDA again about the figures and stay firm with my own understanding.
(L) Reminded myself to have a critical thinking mindset. Whatever figures I had, I have to proof them and cross check to the correct place.
Eg. Share capital - Where can I find the right figures? Statutory accounts? Audited FS? Where are the workings? To really sit down and think it through so that you can link and get the correct figures.
(L) Though it is not highlighted by the person that has guided you, as you will be the persons to do the task, remember that for legal related documents / Especially COSEC, to think through who are the affected parties and whether they need a copy of the files or not.
What can I do to be more productive for the next day?
Planning, Planning and Planning. Plan wise and well.
