The Doctor read the note and observed the fact that everything had calmed down and returned to normal. He must have done something right. He notices the sake that was poured for them. He was a bit hesitant. How was he to know that this wasn't a trick? That the spirit who had seemed to want to kill them before, wasn't trying a new tactic? He picks up the glass warily returning Jacks smile with a nod before he sniffs it. He couldn't smell any harmful chemicals so he drank it down. He didn't want to offend the spirit now but not. He gives Jack a thoughtful look not really sure what he could say to him right now then turned away to check on Sam who seemed a bit quiet. "Sam? are you alright..haven't gotten hit have you?" he asks the man. He glances over at Elizabeth to give her a once over as well. He rubbed his head..it really hurt and he wished there were some painkillers. Between his after sex headache, his lip being bitten by Alastair, Jack punching him and getting hit in the head with god knows what, the Timelord wasn't feeling to great. He was grateful that all these feelings would pass soon. He looks at Jack a few times sadly. But turns to smile at Sam. He hadn't really gotten to speak to Sam properly since he joined him on the TARDIS.
