The Cellar – Drama about Money, Secrets, Kidnapping and Lies

In an unnamed Midwestern city, Gerald and his wife, Helen, are dreaming of a better life. Helen has been pinching her pennies to save up for new curtains, while Gerald collects stamps in hopes of buying a new speed boat. The only thing that could stop them is one of their children coming to them in a time of need, which is exactly what happens when their son, Sonny, approaches Helen for money so he can start his new job out of town in this drama about money, secrets, kidnapping and lies. Gerald, whose contempt for his son is well known, suspects that he is in hot water after losing a bet on a horse race, but Helen can’t resist giving him her entire savings. Also willing and able to help is Honey, a prostitute and Sonny’s half sister, whom Gerald adores just as much as he despises Sonny. She also happens to be in love with Sonny and has been since they were kids, but the off-putting incestual desire may not be of her own doing. As secrets are revealed and relationships are tested, perhaps Robert, a blind man that Gerald has seemingly kidnapped and stashed in the basement, can be the solution (or scapegoat) this dysfunctional family needs.

The Real Housewives of Cape Coral – play about suspecting a spouse is cheating

Myrtle has something on her mind and so she has called her three best girlfriends to the local diner where she worries her greatest fear has finally come true - her husband, Ed is cheating on her with a young hottie. Of course, her friends are late, but eventually both arrive, one dressed as Snow White from her job at Dinseyworld and the other after having an altercation in the laxative aisle of the local supermarket. Having had this suspicion more than a few times before and having been proved wrong, her friends are sceptical, but when they actually spot Ed at another booth with aforementioned young hottie, things seem suspicious this time. But is Ed really cheating on Myrtle? A play about suspecting a spouse is cheating.

Beyond the Edge – a Play about Climate Change and the Climate Emergency

This is a school play about climate change – for once it’s not all doom and gloom, but it is wet. That is to say – there is a flood. A BIG one! Four young students out for the day end up trapped with their two teachers after a bridge gives way on their way home. They are stuck on a hill, on the precipice of the drop off into the raging waters below. While they wait for help – they begin to question what it is that made the bridge give way, the constant rain, and their own roles in the matter. Play about Climate Change.

The Beach House – comedy drama about family

It’s meant to be a celebration of family and in particular, granddad Arthur’s birthday. Sure, Arthur and Ellen have been divorced a long time and he barely gets along with Abigail, his granddaughter, but at least Belinda is trying when it comes to her parents and children in this comedy drama about family. It's unfortunate really that Abigail and Jarvis, his grandson show their true and disingenuous reasons for attending the beach house celebration, in a situation that is unraveling almost as soon as they get to their home away from home. With a no-show father (Belinda’s husband who cares as much for the title as he does for Abigail) it seems Belinda is well and truly on her own as she tries desperately to keep a family as unified as ever. In this drama/comedy in one act, the odds are not so much in Belinda’s favour as a secret as old as Abigail threatens to tear the family completely apart…
