How many Tintin’s memorabilia that you can find in this photo? I found three and I’ll tell you the story behind it. - 1. It’s obvious: the Rocket, from Destination Moon and Explorers on the Moon. The comic was published in 1953 and 1954, and the real-life landing mission to the moon have to wait 15 years! You can see that Hergé is a genius writer as he can illustrate the mission to the moon with a proper storyline and calculation! 2. I don’t have any story about this 😉, but you’ll see the head statue of Tintin on the right side. 3. If you see the 5th stairstep from the bottom closely, there’s a small broken part on it. The stairs resemble the steps of the Marlinspike Hall where Tintin and Haddock lives. And the broken step is connected with the story of The Castafiore Emerald, where Haddock was so pissed by the broken stairstep and fell down many times on it 😂. - (14/07/2017) #tintin #haddock #destinationmoon #explorersofthemoon #comic #hergé #castafioreemerald #belgiancomicstripcenter #brussels #bruxelles #belgium #europe #eurotrip #throwback (at The Belgian Comic Strip Center - Museum)
