“This 14th April, 2016 is the 125th birth anniversary of Dr. Babasaheb Ambedkar, the man who not only revived Buddhism in India but also emancipated millions of people from the horrendous clutches of untouchability and the oppressive brutally imposed by caste system that is made, maintained and uphold by Brahmins throughout the world. Ambedkar is continued to inspire many people in their struggle to acquire the dignity they deserve as human beings; in this sense, he is the world-class personality. Ambedkarite people have struggled immensely to spread his thoughts and teachings throughout the world, sometime even on the cost of their lives. However, Triratna Buddhist Order (whose erstwhile name in India was Trailokya Bouddha Mahasangha Sahayak Gana, TBMSG, and in the western countries known as Friends of Western Buddhist Order, FWBO) has been doing contrary in terms of his legacy, quite from their inception and growth in India. The most striking and palpably dangerous phenomena that is decades-long is that their growth in India, precisely in Maharashtra and majorly among Buddhists (erstwhile Mahars, ex-untouchable castes) had started with their ‘claim’ to be an order who is spreading ‘Ambedkar’s’ Buddhism. Of course, this is the only reason and the undisputed fact that had earned them many Buddhists followers in India, in Maharashtra majority of them are still ‘ex-untouchable’ Mahars (converted to Buddhism in 1956). It is their dedication for Ambedkar’s movement and his vision, that led them to join TBM. But now it seems to trap them under the clutches of TBM whose administration, pedagogical methods are all unilaterally governed by white people and dominated by them. It also explains the fact that why TBM’s publication business, Windhorse Publication, has no book written by Indian order members (mostly and majority of them are Dalits), in English or otherwise translated, which can share their experience of being Ambedkarite Buddhists with the world; on the contrary, only Sangharkshita and his second-in-command Subhuti (explains by many Dalit/Bahujan intellectuals as a racist person when they listened to him speaking in public talks) do through their books and talks. Here lies the seed of their false propaganda. Of course, shrewdly prohibiting someone to speak explains the fact that the person who is at the controlling-end does not want other person to speak; and intend to make him only listen, make him his slave, make him do what he wants them to do; in an essence, the person at controlling-end wants to control the entire life of the person whom he wants to control, by not letting him share his views and ideas with the larger world. But such facts need an in-depth attention and critical inquiry as they are very subtle to understand as to why they are so.”
