1: What is the first song you heard by 6? Uhhhm, possibly The Trial of Lancelot? I love her for her Arthurian music.

2: What is your favourite song by 8? I have a big soft spot for Let Her Go, but if I want to pick a less cliche one, it’s Bullets.

3: What kind of impact has 1 had on your life? HAH! Well, they have become my favourite band, which only happens once every ten years or so, it seems - literally any of their music has been hugely inspirational for me in all things fannish and writer-y. The best coincidence was still when The Ballad of Jeremiah Peacekeeper came out about the time that Doctor Who did “A Town Called Mercy”.

4: What are your favourite lyrics by 5? (Fair warning, this is a Spanish band! However, there is an English version of the song (Ecos de Vida) by the band itself, so I’ll quote both. For the record, I knew the English version first but the Spanish is miles better. I love the whole song, but for the sake of brevity...)

Tanta pureza / Tan noble corazón / Y tan fácil de dañar.

Purity of a soul / So noble, a heart of gold / How easily it falls apart

Or possibly these, from Aprendiendo a perder:

Both are... very fitting for the kind of characters I like. Now that I think about it, they go very very well with BDaS Avon.

5: How many times have you seen 4 live? I haven’t - again, they are a Spanish band, so frankly I haven’t really looked. Also, it’s the kind of music that sometimes I’m not sure whether I can stand live because of the volume, since they border on metal. I have listened to live recordings, though!

6: What is your favourite song by 7? Nuclear, lately. Hands down. In terms of purely instrumentals, I also love The Song of the Sun.

7: Is there any song by 3 that makes you sad? Oh boy. Runrig are usually my “car/train ride in the sun” kind of band, uhm... I’ve cried at hearing (and singing along to) Hearts of Olden Glory live, so I suppose that counts.

8: What is your favourite song by 9? Alternatingly Try Try Try or Vertigo.

9: How did you first get into 2? Hah! It’s all the fault of Blake’s 7. No seriously. This fanvideo. And then @bruinhilda shared the Elfquest album with me and it got a little out of hand from there. I think what attracted me was the rawness of emotion and the stories in her songs, which I usually miss in your run of the mill radio music (and mostly find in musicals, tbh), not just how readily they lend themselves to fannishness.

10: How did you get into 10? Welcome to Night Vale. Literally. The podcast’s “weather” has become a great source of non-mainstream music for me (it’s where I got Rachael Sage from, too), and I’ve really enjoyed Pyramid and I Made a Promise to the Moon.

Yassssss! Can you imagine Cas’ surprise when he finds out about Dean’s interesting anatomy…

Yeees! Haha! I think he’s ready to accept pretty much any weirdness that the Naga culture has to offer. But two dicks? That’s a bit silly isn’t it? What’s the point?? One seems to be perfectly enough! And how are they arranged? When do they come out? (Would they even fit?)
