It had been a long time since Chrysalis had stopped by this particular hideaway of hers. The castle in the Everfree had once been abandoned to the elements, so who was she to turn down such a lair? Except ponies started showing up at random, making her life difficult. Even now, rumors persisted that the visits were more and more common.
Which just left the Queen curious as to what they were finding out here. It wasn't anything that was good for their health, that was for certain.
Entering the front doors, she looked about with a frown. Parts of it were looking... refurbished. Was somepony moving out here? Confused and annoyed, she stalked through the castle looking for clues of something that might catch pony attention.
She assumed it would be a diamond mine. Or maybe a rare fruit tree.
