Adventures in Plying Enjoying plying on the castle wheel so much I had to find more singles to ply! After plying the BFL silk blend (skeins at upper right) I had some left on one Lazy Kate, so I spun some white Alpaca and plied it with that (on right arms of knitty noddy). Then I had white alpaca left so I decided to ply it with all the singles I spun in the Kate Larson workshop. I ran out of white alpaca, of course, so I had to dig through my stash to find more. I think it turned into an interesting skein (on left). I wonder if I enjoy plying so much because I turn the wheel counterclockwise and that intrigues me? Stay tuned... maybe three ply is next?!
