5. What's the very first film you remember watching
Anastasia. I remember going to the theatre. When I was little I hated loud noises so my parents always brought earmuffs with them -- that way I could wear them and not get scared, but still hear the movie. And it was Anastasia and I don't think my parents knew how dark it would be and it scared me a lot and my dad had to take me out into the hall until the "In The Dark of The Night" sequence was over. Pretty sure I cried. Love that movie though. \
14 - I already answered so I'll dooooo 2 instead.
2. What's the most disturbing movie you've ever watched
Tough competition here. I watch a lot of disturbing shit. It very well could be Dogtooth -- that movie is fucked up and I still don't know if I liked it or not. Like, just enormous levels of "what the fuck" going on. That's pretty high on the list. Blue Velvet is also pretty high on the list, but I don't really like David Lynch. Like that makes the list more because I think it was disturbing and violent and misogynistic without purpose??? Like Dogtooth was fucked up but there was a clear goal toward the end of the film and it made a little sense. Blue Velvet to me was like watching David Lynch pleasure himself for two hours and then be like "Eh???? So??? You liked it??? You're a film buff so you SHOULD." And I was not impressed.
16 - I already answered this one as well so I'l do 6 instead
6. A film you wish you hadn't watched
A Serbian Film. Here's the thing though -- I've never seen A Serbian Film. I ONLY READ THE SYNOPSIS. AND I WISH I FUCKING HADN'T. LIKE THE IMAGES MY OWN MIND CONJURED FROM READING THE FUCKING SYNOPSIS FOR THAT FILM ARE SO FUCKING DISTURBING THAT I HAVE TROUBLE EVEN LIVING WITH MYSELF. DON'T DO IT. DON'T EVEN THINK ABOUT IT. PRETEND I NEVER MENTIONED THAT GOD FORSAKEN FILM.
19. Mainstream movies or indie movies
I think generally, indie movies. The kind of movie I like tends to be an indie film anyway because big studios don't take risks on the kind of stuff I like to watch anymore, but that's also a generalization. Because I love Marvel. And I loved the Lego Movie and I saw Crazy Stupid Love like three times in the theatre. So you know. It depends.
