Dream 34
I had just put two big fish tanks in my living room but they needed fish to go in them. I checked what fish I had in my inventory, putting the first one I had in and it was just a brown fish that sat on the bottom of the fish tank, so I took it out. Next in my inventory list was a catfish that asked me how my day was and since I thought it plesent, I let it stay.
I looked at the other fish tank I had and realised I wanted a shark, but I would need to go fish that! I went outside to the pier, but there was no boat taking groups fishing right now.
It occurred to me that it was super dark outside for being afternoon, looking around only to notice my sister further down the docks with wraiths approaching her that seemed to glow blood orange from within their black cloaks.
I took out my hatchet and swung through both wraiths, dissipating them.
My sister thanked me and we stole a sleek white motorboat to pilot down the river because more wraiths were coming down the docks towards us. As we zoomed down the river, I looked up at the sun which blazed red as its light shone through the veil of clouds that covered the sky like a gauze of dried blood.
Remembering that the river turned into a waterfall up ahead, I started slowing down the boat, but I wasn't quick enough.
We sailed over the falls and landed on one of the bridges that ran across the falls in front of it.
I recognized my friend, Quali, who was currently running away from the wraiths, moving to dissipate the creatures with my hatchet before they could get to her. Running up the stairs to the top of the waterfall, where a bronze statue of a woman raising her hand in the air like the Statue of Liberty sat, powered by a hydroelectric generator that was midway down the waterfall.
The hydroelectric generator was currently sending heated water up to the mechanical construct, presumably to move it, but as we passed the statue of the woman, she stood errily motionless. The stairs beneath my feet pulsed with heat from the hot water rushing through the pipes built into its foundation, the water being sent into the construct’s neck.
The three of us found a building to hide in at the top of the waterfall next to the river, but Quali wandered off to find a shower tile, getting cornered on a walkway by a woman possessed by one of the wraiths- as seen by her eyes shining with an eerie orange glow.
Quali pulled out a tarot deck and said that the fortunes are in her favor, making the possessed woman scoff. Taking a card from the middle of the deck, Quali threw it right into the woman’s neck, killing her instantly.
My sister and I ran up right as this happened, only for a coven of witches to walk up behind Quali, grabbing her and jumpping into the air, all of them disapearing into the night.
