I showed Boyfriend this picture. Normally he’s very strict about not letting our cats on the furniture, but when they went in for their (routine) checkup yesterday, the vet reminded us that they are technically geriatric (even though they are energetic and in good health) and now suddenly they are getting (more) spoiled.

they also cried a lot when I tried to crate them yesterday. we moved every year or so when they were younger, and every time they went to Cat Jail it was fine, they just ended up in a larger place. But now the jig is up, they’ve realized that when the crates come out they are not getting magically transported to a bigger, more interesting house, they are just getting more shots and MAN do they have strong feelings about it

At least they waited until I was done. But I could definitely feel them watching the whole time.
