I had a conversation with my friends cat yesterday. We both came away happy with the compromise on ear scritches and he accepted my apology on not seeking him out to scritch on arrival.

My friend looked astonished.

Me: "What?"

Friend: "What just happened? He never yowls and chirrups like that to me!"

Me: "Maybe you're just not listening?"

Cat: "Mreeeow." *Purrs, does a loop of my legs and struts off into the kitchen*

Friend: "Noted"

Youngest sister: "I thought you were annoyed with Panda?"

Me: "ME? I am not annoyed with Panda at all! How can you say that?"

Youngest sister: "Uhh, he 'gifted' you something in your room, remember?"

Me: *thinking*

Me: "Oooh, that! I almost forgot... Yeah, I was annoyed with him back then. But it's okay now. We're okay now."

Me: *grins*

Youngest sister: "You're always like this. Panda really knows how to use his cuteness. And his cuteness always win over you."

Me: "I know... He's always pulling me towards him...like a magnet. I can't resist his cuteness, you know. He's like...DUNYA!"

*silence*

Youngest sister: "That's deep."
