side note: for ages i've been calling Gamer Angel a romance, but I'm wondering if it should be more so categorized as a love story, like yeah it's about them falling in love, but like, it's also about a bunch of other things. Like parental relationships, relationships being held afloat despite difficulties, suppressing trauma etc That and I feel like romance makes it sound more like a dating game, which it isn't really, like you can choose cute things to do or say but there's only a select two choices that affect the ending and they're more obvious.
Oscar is Oscar, the player is just choosing to see different sides of him.
Cat is Cat and she likes Oscar and wants to trust him, she's understanding, she wouldn't really be shallow enough to be like "Ew you didn't choose the right item for me, that's a point gone" XDD
Not to mention there are so many fleshed out characters outside of Oscar and Cat that have their own stuff going on
So yeah, very roundabout way of explaining me considering my wording XD
