the first chapter of solemn graces #1 really bothered me because it was a lot of talking and not so much action that actually showed grace for who she is so guess who’s writing in a kick-ass scene where grace fights a monster so i can show off how cool she is
would gallo and grace like or love the mystery gang if they met them? what about the scoob himself? would he be a weird, creepy, gross but lovable monster that played on their heartstrings a lil??
grace would LOVE the mystery gang. scooby doo would be one of her favourite shows ever (along with hardy boys and nancy drew), and she’d do her own version of fangirling upon meeting them. she loves mysteries and idolises classic mystery solvers and all, including inglenook’s version of the mystery gang. she doesn’t like most dogs but she would definitely pet scooby and give him scooby snax (that gallo probably baked on grace’s request)
gallo mostly prefers the horror circuit (grace and gallo match up well because of the intersection between horror and mystery, among other things), but he’d like some of the classic scooby episodes and definitely be excited if grace was. to be honest though he’d probably be the very thing the mystery gang was investigating with his habit of being a spoopy scary skeleton and pulling pranks in the same vein as their common villains (although ultimately harmless pranks)
hey who wants to help me figure out the Incredibly Messy Story of one of my most important characters, the snake-themed alchemist victoria craven, because there’s a lot of contradictory possibilities and i can’t decide
that feel when you add so much plot to your story that you end up pushing back the introduction of one of your favourite and most important characters until really late in the story and you keep grabbing and clawing for any opportunity to have the character be a thing earlier than your new plot paradigm dictates
that feel when you have ideas for so many different versions and aus of your characters and their stories that you’re still struggling to figure out which details belong in the main canon and which ones do not
skyrim isn’t a HUGE thing for me but guess who’s gonna make grace morgan in skyrim hint it’s me
that feel when you develop and name a character who is REALLY GOOD and would have such a good relationship with your main character but you’re like several months too late to add said character to the story and there’s no place in any of the stories for them to actually do anything
my worst fear about writing sable, a despicable abuser who torments and corrupts because she gets off on it, will end up with defenders and fans in the same way that kylo ren, handsome jack, and even kilgrave have gotten
if that happens i’ll be like :) no honey :) you are completely missing the point of sable’s character :) she may be fun as a character but she is disgusting and awful and you’re supposed to hate her :) or at least have conflicted feelings about her :)))
