Because clearly its not their son, Danny's at home in bed, or at school, or somewhere he's supposed to be, not dead and floating in front of them. Clearly. It's just a trick. What's something your pet does, likes, etc that you would always know it was them, or know it wasn't them?

Like they got out when they weren't supposed to and you thought you found them and brought them home, or you let in an animal you thought was your pet, identical to your pet, but it turned out to be a different cat/dog/rabbit/etc, what's the thing that would tip you off?

I crocheted a little @falsesymmetry doll! I made the Empires outfit first because I didn't have red for the other shirt, but I just picked up the red so I'm going to get that done here soon too.

The patterns for the base doll, shirt, pants, and shoes are from Crochet You! by Nathalie Amiel, though I did modify the patterns for the shirt and pants a little bit to get the buttonup and suspenders to look right. The elytra and goggles I freehanded myself!

I actually chose to make this doll after I'd made that elytra; I was randomly struck with the urge to figure out how to make an elytra that this doll pattern could wear, and when I'd figured it out and got it looking right, I just knew I had to make a doll that would have a reason to wear it, and False Symmetry was the first one to come to mind for it. I'll probably finish the hermitcraft outfit for her today or tomorrow, and I'll post it when I'm done!

gods don't you just love it when things get wrongly flagged because your flagging system sucks? I just automatically click to unhide "mature content" now. What if one of my mutuals put full on cock on my dash and I click unhide on instinct while I'm at work? I have no way of knowing its full on cock until I hit that button, because tumblr won't even show me the fucking tags until I unhide it. Utterly fucking abysmal. Filtered posts should AT THE VERY FUCKING LEAST let me see the tags, since the tags are likely to give me a proper idea of if I should ACTUALLY be unhiding it or not. @staff fix your fucking website.

(all I've made so far is healing potions, which have been Very Helpful in my many silly adventures. I am not good at fighting)

And now odds and ends! Other dumb little things I've done or seen in vintage story include:

lil goblin-y cat! I was trying to make this one thinner than the other and it ended up looking like a bingus

The New Rooster in his personal underground run it extends backwards into the coop so he can be out of hte cold and closer to the hens when they roost, but he has to stay Down There so he doesn't steal their food or get in fights with any cockerels that grow up

Mystery Water flowing out of nowhere (definitely there's a floating island up there in the darkness, but it was very funny to me while I was adventuring)

my Fish Dungeon! A very normal thing to have (if you have primitive survival mod installed)

I mean it kept me in meat before I got farm animals

My sitting room!! The room I have, by far, made the most chiselled furniture for. It's an upstairs room; downstairs is the kitchen and storage with the attached workshop, and upstairs is the bedroom, tailoring room, and sitting room.

I think the only furniture not chiselled in this room is the bookshelves/scrollshelves (now more populated since taking this picture thanks to the resonance archives), also I should note the shot of the curtain for the second window where the curtain is draping over the corner shelving is a much later photo than the rest, hence why there's now a ruined claymour (and a ruined mace at the very edge of the shot) on the wall over the sidetable by the door out - that's not a third table that's the same table by the entrance, just now with decor over it. At some point I'll probably buy a painting to put over the couch so the wall isn't quite so same-y.
