Lunar: *holds his tail back and slowly wags both of them around*

Monty, whispering: The kids are so cute getting used to each other again.

Lunar: *holding tails with Eclipse*

Eclipse: *squeaks at him*

Lunar: *squeaks back*

Moon: Really? I mean I knew Monty was dramatic but not that dramatic.

Lunar: *squeaks at him*

Sun: Monty wouldn’t do that.

Eclipse: *squeaks*

Monty, sweating: Monty did what now? What did you tell them?

Moon: *takes off after Monty*

Monty: WHAT DID YOU TELL THEM!?

Carl, sleeping on top of Lunar: *poofs*

Eclipse, who is now weighing Lunar down: I’m sorry!

Lunar: *just keeps petting his head*

Eclipse: *happy purring*

Moon: So…Carl was Eclipse?

Lunar: Yes. He still purrs! It’s adorable!

Moon, glaring at the other four kittens: Interesting.

Sun: *aims a laser pointer near Eclipse*

Eclipse: *goes after it like a bat out of hell*

Sun: *wiggles it on the curtain to the balcony*

Eclipse: *dives for the curtain and falls right down into the ballpit*

Sun: Oh my god, I’m so sorry!

I am now imagining pre-October Moon just finding a laser pointer sitting around, maybe left by a guard maybe by a kid, and just messing around with it because why not, it’s a couple minutes of entertainment and/or distraction, depending on how close to October it is.

And then Sun walks in and sees the red dot on the wall. And Eclipse suddenly forces control out of nowhere and runs face first into the wall. 🦇

That becomes how Moon tells who's out because, if Eclipse is out, there won't be a slight pause before the Chasening Of The Dot, Eclipse will simply tear ass after The Dot of Truth and slam into walls and nets, and foam structures, and play structures, and the security desk to get The Dot. Moon has accidentally made Eclipse launch off the balcony in chase too many times to count. Moon's power is unwaivering.

Dadclipse AU

Baby Solar is very loving, he loves everyone, his dad the most.

Eclipse is quite easily startled when he can’t find Baby Flare. If someone so much as touches him when he doesn’t know they’re next to him, he’ll screech and sometimes punch.

KC, despite Eclipse’s predictions of hatred, absolutely adores his grandson. KC is simply wrapped around Flare’s finger and he would do practically anything for him.

Blood Moon is too. They don’t usually take to babies but this one is special, aka their little baby nephew.

Catboy Eclipse AU

Monty is still protective of Eclipse. As ‘Ches’ Eclipse was his favorite little buddy and that translates to Eclipse even after he puts him in an actual body.

Eclipse still likes hiding and sleeping in boxes and on Monty. If nobody can find him, they check the various boxes in the daycare and usually find him. If not, he’s asleep on Monty or roaming Gator Golf.

Catboy Eclipse’s tail thumps very loudly when he gets praised. His tail gives away his emotions constantly and everyone can help and treat him better a lot easier now that they can tell.

Prisoner Eclipse AU

Ceres isn’t dirty by any means, Eris helps him bathe every couple days. Supergiant refuses to do this and sees it as ‘babying’ and ‘a right to earn’.

Dysnomia is much less childish than Lunar. He saw off the bat how hurt his brother was and has trust issues, especially with Supergiant.

When Eris becomes the primary target for abuse, Dysnomia becomes the one taking care of Eris and Ceres. Dysnomia takes over the role Eris once took while trying to reach out to other universes to get them help, since nobody seems to care in their own world (read: nobody knows Supergiant is abusing Eris and Ceres).

Eris has intense trust issues once he’s the abuse target. Eris is also quite quiet once he’s being abused too. His own brother, the person he trusted most, hurt him and he doesn’t know how to fix the situation, so he’s just much, much quieter.

Ceres doesn’t know Eris is being abused at first until Dysnomia is the one taking care of him and Eris is very shaky when he visits Ceres.

Eclipse can loaf like a cat. No one knows how. No one knows why. He just can.

He also somehow forces people to follow cat's law with him. If he sits down next to you, you don't get to move. It just feels wrong for some reason. No one understands why it feels wrong, not even Eclipse himself.

Going with that, if you pat his head, he will randomly start fighting that person's hand.

Catboy Eclipse needs no reason for his catlike behavior, he simply does his catlike behavior. He chases laser pointers, he purrs, he loaf. He simply is cat.
