I HATE echo chambers and tumblr is full of them. But pretty much any social platform is. People who do nothing but circle jerk their ideas with the same people who think, share every idea with no deviation of their own mindset. And then immediately shun and block or "cancel" any one who don't agree with them. On the other hand I think it's perfectly in someones right to use the tools to not converse with anyone they don't like or agree with but you see how this creates a problem? A very toxic society of people that creates groups of perpetuates idealogies and it only cycles when you fail to understand and learn how it came to be.
