Catcheat, the Catfish Pokemon Catcheat drift along the riverfloor, gobbling up anything that can fit inside its mouth. The Pokemon can grow to tremendous size if given enough to eat. Catcheat has the appearance of a friendly cat, and pounces on people and Pokemon alike that fall for the ruse.

Catcheat is a potential Super Rod encounter, a hardy catfish in every sense. Its best stat is HP, letting you build it equally well physically or specially or bulky to keep your opponents guessing just what the little stinker is up to. Will the first Ice attack shred it, or ping off it uselessly? Maybe you play it safe with a neutral move, but then maybe it was a Regenerator after all...
In a game with visual size variation, Catcheat's scaling factor would be downright silly, with the XXXS Catcheat being as big as your shoe and the XXXL/alpha being as big as a car.
