An Open Letter.

Hi, do you remember me? Silly… Of course you do. 

We played pretend for quite some time. You were always good at faking smiles.

I always need you more then you need me. You keep me guessing if I’m the friend, or the enemy. 

Your responses are often chilly and short. But when I turn away you say “don’t go”. 

I barely know how we became friends at all. But I guess you picked me up before the fall.

This entire weekend has been chaos. Moving chaos, that is. I’m still not done with unpacking and unwrapping and cleaning every little spot and so on… But, I’m getting there. Slow and steady is the sentence of the week.

A forty minute drive is now a ten minute bicycle ride to work, and oh my god how it feels great to finally call myself a city girl again (Even though Visby is more of a really big town kind of place). Anyways, as people have been asking for pictures and I’m too lazy to send them in each message, I’ll just post it all here. You are very welcome.

  When you open the front door you’ll find yourself in front of this (imagine me drunkenly sleeping on the stairs)…

And if you go upstairs you’ll enter the apartment.

We have two bathrooms, one big for me and Leo and then one small for my younger sister who is renting a room until the end of June-something. I won’t show you the room she lives in, because well it’s her room for now. But it’s kinda big and has a walk-in closet.

  The kitchen is my favorite part of everything. It’s so cute and it’s got a little balcony which will be great when it’s a tiny bit warmer outside.

  Our bedroom is big and simple, and it has big windows, soooo lovely.

I made this one for Leo last summer, and now it’s hanging on the wall in our bedroom !!

And now, the living room/dining room.

All the rooms are quite big, and it’s kinda great because Leo has such big furnitures. Right now, I’m trying to convince him to throw out the big sofas and buy a better one. Buuuut, my convincing isn’t strong enough because I kinda love them too… They’re just so god damn big. Btw, the lamp over the table is not supposed to hang like that, we’re just on the look out for a longer cord so yeah, it’s gonna be like that for now at least.

We also have a guest room/office room, but it’s filled with everything I haven’t yet unpacked and so on, so no sneak peaks of that. Sorry.

  You’re very welcome to come visit, I’ll make sure theres some cookies and coffee in the kitchen for you all.
