When I think of your writing I always think of that one scene in Pyres where Shin and Kiara are just laying together and Shin has his fangs on her neck but they’re both just wondering what will happen to her. Idk why but that scene just hit me in the feels, that and the scene at the end of Pyre where Shin and Kiara mark each other

Oh my gosh yes!! I loved that scene it was like so emotional without anything really happening and he just holds her and it’s just ughhhhh god. I miss that series so much. 

Like he knows she’s crying so he makes it painful so she can blame it on that instead like ???? SHIN YOU BEAUTIFUL BASTARD. 

The marking was great too. That whole last scene where they just elope. My heart. Fuck you guys are making me miss DL so much!

I was recently thinking about Reiji and Shu and I had a thought, what if Beatrix had been Karlheinz’s first wife? How do you think that would have affected her and her kids relationship? Would she still have pushed Shu as hard, if she didn’t feel the need to prove herself as second wife? Would Reiji have less of an inferiority complex?

Oh snap that’s a damn good question. I’ve been thinking about this since I left for work lmao. I feel like to a certain extent, she’d chill a bit. Because Shu would be the first son of the first wife so he’s pretty much got all his bases covered. 

That said though I mean, she’d still push Shu a whole hell of a lot. Because Cordelia is pushing for Ayato. And there needs to be one Son to rule over the rest right? Lol so I don’t think that tension would necessarily go away. 

But I do think that by having that comfort of being the first wife that she’d have a bit more time to devote to Reiji. Cuz let’s be honest she basically abandoned him. 

So problems would still definitely be there, but not to such an extremity. Like maybe just that extra bit of attention would have kept Reiji from killing her and Beatrix would still be alive :x

Do you think Reji would be an alfa or an omega? I want to say alfa but I think him being born an omega would add another layer to his inferiority/superiority complex (I swear he has both).

Oh my fucking god. I’ve never considered DL within the omegaverse AU. Now that’d really be something wouldn’t it lmao. 

Without any consideration at all my brain jumped to alpha because like duh. I feel like within the context of DL they’d all kinda have to be alphas with Yui as this omega that has super amazing pheromones or whatever. 

But holy shit omega Reiji. That would be so fucking sad. It takes his insecurities to a whole new level that I don’t even wanna think about because hasn’t he suffered enough??? That’d be so sad. Like on top of everything now he’s at the bottom of this whole gender shit. Good god. Although that’d be an interesting play on his M side. Like imagine him going into heat? *swoons* I feel like at that point though you’d have to introduce some Alpha OC character. I’m not a huge fan of Sadistic Yui cuz it’s not really Yui it’s more Cordelia influencing her. 

Interesting thought, though. I never thought to combine them lmao. If you think about it though in a way as vampires they’re already this ‘alpha-esque’ sort of race. Hmm…

Imma be thinking about this all day.

I just read the new chapter of Champagne and Chicanery on AO3 and it was worth the wait! Are you thinking of picking the story back up?

Hi! I read your comment on it it really made my night! Sorry I haven’t gotten around to replying to it yet! 

As for picking it back up…I wish I could give you a good old honest HELL YEAH because Henrietta and Sampson are basically my favorite ship. They were my first OC pairing and their dynamic is something I haven’t been able to write in any of my other works. 

I haven’t given up on the story yet, though I will say that. I mean it’s all outlined and I know exactly where it needs to go. The main issue is just…time? So we’ll see. Sorry I wish I could give you a better answer than that DX

Not at all! I miss them so much too they’re still like two of my most favorite OCs. And ah omg you changed your pic haha I can’t stop laughing XD

40) How sensitive are they to their own flaws?

Henrietta: She’s hyper aware of them and does all she can to either correct them or make sure no one else will notice them. 

Sampson: He doesn’t really see them as flaws. He considers everything some sort of advantage over someone else. So I guess you he could say he kind of ignores them and chooses to play on his strengths. 

42) How badly do they want to reach their end goal?

Henrietta and Sampson: Will use any means necessary/stop at nothing. They’re both equally ruthless. 

G) What trait of theirs bothers you the most?

Henrietta: I hate how obsessed she is with becoming the “first wife.” That complex of hers fucks her over. Like if she could’ve just let that go then she would’ve been happier, Sampson would’ve been happier, and then maybe Reina wouldn’t have had such a shitty ass childhood. 

Sampson: Omg idk if there’s anything I don’t like about him lmfao. He is pretty obnoxious though which can get kind of annoying. And a tad a lot bit manipulative so…yeah I guess the fact that he’s not such a good person? XD
