Day 49. A day of rest. A human can’t sit still in a room. That creates trouble. Let Sunday be like all my days, a chance to discover how nice it is to be here in the world without doing anything. A day of rest... not with this little lady around who is in for all kinds of mischief. Her energy and playfulness are so inviting. I love to follow her. That’s the end of seven weeks #catfulness. Time went by quickly, too quickly. But I’ve got the cats and their lessons close to live life relaxed and in catfulness. Day 48. Choose the sun. The sun is all energy that is available to us. When rays of sunshine appear let them warm your face. Unwind, surrender, stretch and blissfully think about this gift to yourself. No sunshine today to bask myself in. No time either if there would have been sunshine since we had a biodiversity class in Wageningen all day. I know that I don’t need sunshine when these five are around. Day 47. Eat when you’re hungry. Why finish your plate when you’re not hungry? Stop eating when you notice you’ve had enough. Listen to your body to find out it needs a snack or a full dinner. Teddy can eat any time of the day. Whether it is a bowl full with food, a mouse or a tiny woodlouse. Like the little fellow she found in the bathroom. Day 46. Use your nose. There are five senses that can make you feel good. Use your sense of smell to find nice scents and smells to relax. Oops... forgot to post yesterday’s #catfulness. It was my mom’s birthday yesterday and I kept thinking that this year is the 40th year that she not with us. I wanted to celebrate her birthday but I couldn’t come up with how. So instead we baked pancakes. Which is always fun to do. Teddy and I have a special song we sing while baking. I shall not sing that in public because it is too silly. Day 45. Ignore aggravating people. To keep a calm spirit avoid the presence of stressed and noisy types. People who love silence and cuddling are the best to be with. So ignore to prevent stress. That doesn’t mean you need to hide underneath the couch... I don’t know what I’ve done wrong. Day 44. Stretch yourself with dedication. The body is the mirror of the mind. It fills up with all days tention. Create a healthy habbit of stretching yourself and feel the liberation. Teddy is a master in stretching, my little yogini. She stretches when she’s feeling happy. It’s amazing how flexible she is. And how happy she is. Unlike me. I’m not able to stretch at all at the moment. I hurt a muscle in my back while walking the goats last week. Whinnie didn’t like the wind and wanted to go home fast and kept pulling her leash. I’m still dreaming of going for a walk with her with a skateboard. Day 43. Don’t think... do... Trying to solve everything with your head will mess things up. Best way to live life is to follow your body and intuition. You may fall but soon enough it’ll be forgotten. It’s good to see this little guy being playful. He’s the best example of following body and intuition.
