Picture Home 2, day 10, See Through. Here’s yesterday’s series. What an unexpected and fun way to shoot, through a toilet paper roll. I tried to focus first and put the roll in front of the lens after focussing. With energetic cats that was hard and of course I was determined to get the cats in the image. So I shot through the roll instead. With my Nikon it was not easy to get the effect I had in mind, the inside of the roll a bit more visible. That is why the images are quite dark. I tried shooting through a short and long roll. Maybe I gave up too early. But anyway I love the series that came out of it. Shooting through a roll with my iPhone was way more easy.
