Sending the Cat Genie back. Neither of my cats went anywhere near it at any point. Flashy did that thing he does where he starts acting like he's gonna pee in the living room if i dont change his box (#worstboyfriendever) rather than go in this so I've dismantled it and brought it upstairs to pack it up. Violet decided this is a good time to check it out. It's not really at all. The problem that I have with things like the CatGenie where it claims that you never have to “Touch or clean cat litter again” is that when you clean you cat litter box it is one of the ways that you can keep an eye on your cat’s health. I had a cat who was prone to UTIs and if we had something like the CatGenie I would not have been able to properly keep an eye on his urine and the ammonia smell or if he had blood in his urine as well.

My opinion on this also is from “what if your cat has diarrhea?” you wouldn’t be able to tell if maybe it’s just a one time thing or if you need to adjust/change your cat’s food.

Now, this is just my opinion from what I’ve read internet and seen TV and it just does not make sense to me. If someone owns a CatGenie and it’s different from what I’ve seen I welcome the info on it. I personally would never get one for my animals. But again, I welcome any info on it.
