Photographer Cath Simard snapped a photograph of an empty road in Hawaii that quickly went viral. She sold the image as a 1/1 NFT for $300,000 and decided to release the image rights so anyone can use it now. 

The project is called #FreeHawaiiPhoto, and it was created to give artists compensation for their work, while also allowing others the chance to use it for free.
