I believe sometimes that it’s best to take a step back from something you love in the hopes of one day discovering the same joy that we once had! I couldn’t agree more with cancel culture, the god complex’s people have for spilling the tea and exposing, the inability for those who have been exposed to accept actions and urgh - the lack of goddamn chemistry from hella pre-plotted ships/friendships !          Hunter inhaled a deep breath, no matter how much it hurt, and rested his hands on the dresser in front of him. He knew she was right -- he should probably lie in bed for at least another day or two, but he had never been good at doing nothing at all. Being hit by a car, for the second time in his life, had been somewhat of a wake-up call -- one way or another -- and he was done lying around, doing nothing, and wallowing in pain. He wanted to fight the pain instead. Even if that suddenly looked like a very bad idea once he stood up and walked from the bed towards the dresser. That already felt like he had taken on too much, as if he had just walked a marathon. 

         Another deep breath, and another, slowly let the pain subside and he managed to pull one of the drawers open to pull out a fresh shirt, willing to exchange the one he was currently wearing, but realizing that maybe he wasn’t as flexible yet as he would like to be. His arms wouldn’t lift the fabric of the shirt that he was wearing up far enough, and after a moment of struggling, yet pretending that everything was absolutely fine, he turned around with a crooked smile on his lips. “Why are you always the smarter one out of the both of us?” He questioned with a shake of his head. “How about a compromise -- you help me take off this shirt, and I get to change positon from the bed and onto the couch?”

                 Flynn didn’t really see himself as an Uber or Lyft, but it wouldn’t be the first time someone called him that whenever he answered to Arties call. He couldn’t help it--- she made him feel like he was better than the trash he truly was, and he felt like he owed that to her. So, when she called in the middle of the night for a pick up, he didn’t hesitate. Parking, he gives a soft honk to let her know he’s there, top going down of his roommate’s convertible. Leaning back after the roof of the car situated nicely into the back, he smiles, spotting Artie coming out with her belongings. “How was your night? More eventful than mine, I hope.”
