“Well, I didn’t win my title as a Captain in the lottery, my magic friend.”
Right hand propped on his hip, the left never leaving the wheel, Hawk eyed the unexpected visitor amused as well as curious. You could never be too careful with dimensional gates, but although he’d have probably preferred another person from Eternia standing on his bridge out of thin air, at least this little court magician was no threat to anyone on the side of goodness.
“Are you looking for Adora?” It was really the only reason he could think of why Adam’s little friend would wind up on the Solar Clipper of all places. “The crown princess is in the Whispering Woods, I’m afraid. But if you need a ride, we’re on our way to Brightmoon anyway.”
He giggled, short and sharp, and again, the question was left unanswered--Orko really didn’t feel like telling exactly why he came here.
“And here I thought Mekaneck was pulling my chain!” he chirped, coming over to closely inspect the wheel of the ship. “I’ve met a couple pirates, but I’ve never been friends with one before. They were bad news, I’m glad you’re on our side.”
“I haven’t been to Brightmoon in months,” Orko said, pulling back. He looked up at Seahawk, suddenly concerned. “Do you think we’ll be attacked by the Horde on our way there? What do we do if we get surrounded by their flying things?”
