March 30th - 31st is my webcomic The World in Deeper Inspection’s 10th birthday (and 7th launch anniversary)! I usually draw something special every year to celebrate, so I’m doing a series of small illustrations for TWIDI. :D
I’ve been doing this OC Halloween meme annually now, and it’s so fun!! I almost missed this year (I am super busy with finishing uni), but god that would be such a bad look.

Ramadan is coming and felt like doing some doodles!!
1. Back in Istanbul there were never enough dates in the house after iftar cos Zeynel kept munching on them. One more becomes three and then six and then oh no they are all gone now.
2. Ilias has a chocolate obsession just as bad as his friend’s date obsession.
3. yusuf taiyoob (of course Zeynel wouldn’t know the meme canonically but I JUST WANNA DRAW IT)
4. I haven’t been to an Eid open house in three years (since I moved to Melbourne) and I am missing my neighbour’s beef rendang and syrup rose water and keropok and nooo.

Have you heard the movie "Dracula in Istanbul"? I think you might find it interesting.
Nooope. I made it a point to avoid touching anything relating to or inspired by Dracula when I was doing research, but I’m always happy to learn about non-Western interpretations of the Dracula story (apparently this is the first film of the sort).
