How to choose??? I'm eyeing up all these titles but me being who I am as a person I *have* to pick Nick whump post-stalker. You can't dangle stalker in front of me and not expect me to go half-feral over it

😂 Right?! It's such a good episode!! So what I wanted to do with the post-Stalker whump was have Catherine take care of him and have him compare her to his mother and how she would take care of him too, so it's really more of a hurt/comfort situation than actually focusing on the whump as much. Like Catherine washing his hair for him.

And I actually have lines to include this time! 😅

It felt odd having someone else in his private space after living alone for so long. "The last person was-" he cut that thought off and forced it out of his mind. This was Catherine, who he trusted more than anyone, who had become a second mother to him since he'd known her. And despite being a grown man, he still relished the comfort that came from having his mother, biological or in spirit, there with him.

"You really don't have to do this. I'm feeling better. Maybe good enough to go back to work soon?" He threw the idea out there, but she shot him down with a stern look and a manicured finger pointing at the couch.

"You're not going anywhere until you're healed so get comfy." He eased onto the cushions, mindful of the stitches in his thigh and the tightness in his shoulder. The sling helped, but it didn't stop his arm from being jostled around, and the muscles were now throbbing.

How I feel about this character: I like her, I wouldn't say she was my favorite because I definitely relate more to Sara and Nick but she is a complex character. I feel like she's written with interesting plot points and is able to shine on her own without needing support from the boys lol I do wish they hadn't constantly brought up her past as a stripper when most of what I've seen it's only mentioned for the sex factor or as a subtle jab, not to show like character development. But this was the 2000s, I think that plot line could be done better now. And I like how when Sara was first introduced they almost made it like girl vs girl and they were like lmao no and they became a good team. She's badass and protective and cares about her team fiercely, so I like her.

All the people I ship romantically with this character: Lou Vartann and Warrick mainly, I'm slowly watching my way towards seasons 9-13 which I've seen before and don't remember everything, but I think that's the only two? I've read some well-written Catherine and Nick fics, but I don't particularly ship them myself.

My non-romantic OTP for this character: Grissom and Catherine are BFFs!!! I think they love each other so much platonically and familially. Catherine is so close with the rest of them too, I can't leave anyone out!

My unpopular opinion about this character: I don't know what would count as an unpopular opinion. She shouldn't have left the show (but it can't be helped if that was Marg's decision and I respect that.) But she came back so it's okay!

One thing I wish would happen / had happened with this character in canon: That she didn't help Keppler I guess. Too many hurt feelings and not long after being split up in season 5. Good Nick angst though lol

my cross over ship: I'm assuming this means cross over from another show but I've never thought about it so I'm open for suggestions on this!

a headcanon fact: After meeting Grissom, she started going over to his apartment to watch movies so they weren't home alone after some of the harder cases and she keeps a journal of all the movies they watch together.

My most hated character: He who shall not be named that Nick should've taken care of when he had the chance but Nick is too pure and perfect for that.

My OTP: I like Warnick best I think, followed closely by Nick×Greg, Nick and Finn, and Nick and Kristy (who deserved better!!). Basically Nick plus the happiness he deserves! 👏👏👏

My NOTP: Sara and anybody but Grissom. BROTP though with her and Nick!
