Wow Tumblr. I have ignored you. *begs forgiveness*

So 2016 is being a bit of a handful and trying to keep up on all the social media places seems to have been beyond me. But here goes nothing and trying again.

I updated my website this weekend to better showcase the work I  have completed the last year. I’ll try to be better about posting here. 

What is going on with Skip and Pip will be a separate post. :D

I felt weird at first about putting my own name on my art. Now I don’t think twice. It’s business. How else will authors know who did a cover they like so they can find me and hire me for themselves?

I know, right? even though, I don't put my name in it, the editor does and whoever puts everything together. If it's inside the actual thing or at  the back I don't mind so much.

I am in the wells of depression today that we cannot be neighbors and have tea and cookies so that I can listen to you spout off these nuggets of goodness in person. Life is a cruel mistress.

Oh, that sounds lovely.  I am happy to spout meta with anyone who wants to listen especially if they will spout back, and this cold weather brings it out even more, so pull up a chair, darlin'.  It is rainy and in the 40s here in Houston (which is unheard of for winter, let alone November).  So, I am sitting here in a stocking cap and fingerless gloves, because I am too stubborn to turn on our heater.  I feel all pioneer woman.  I should find some hay and twist it into logs.  :)
