Who has the best luck of your ocs? The worst?

What a cool question! I’ll restrict myself to characters from stories I mentioned in my pinned post & say Simkin (from Starsplitter) has insanely good luck & dodges gruesome death and grave misfortune without trying on an unsettlingly regular basis. He’s a sweetheart so it’s really the least he deserves, especially after the hardship of his childhood & teenage years in the royal household.

Olendae (from DOTG) probably has the worst. Cursed, kidnapped, (redacted for spoilers), (redacted for more spoilers), and this is all in the last couple of years 😬 Things often went poorly for her before then, too, but she’s fairly aware of her bad luck & has a dark sense of humor about it. Perpetually an optimist.

Cathix, from the same book, also has horrible luck. But she mostly deserves it.

Has your oc won any awards or other form of recognition? What for? Do they deserve one if not?

Aha, well. Maysaunt (from Starsplitter) is very famous for her various noble deeds & adventures throughout the southern & western cities (& larger towns) of Rohesia. I’d say she deserves it! She’s uncomfortable with the attention but has resigned herself to being the subject of numerous bards’ lays

Bel Mistflower (from DOTG) is a very highly praised wizard among his peers, and he IS very smart, but he’s also a bit of an asshole...which is why he got the awards in the first place. He tends to hog the spotlight due to the stuck up wizards-in-charge liking him. I say he certainly deserves some of the recognition. (Though it all ends up biting him in the ass, in the end...)
