I went to a naming dedication for a Baptist Christian friends baby and idk if it was the general overdramatism of the multiple sermons, upbeat bangers and just generally non-grim/suicidally intense, sin-shaming atmosphere of a dark, candle-lit, incense-filled Catholic church, or if it's the intense intergenerational Catholic Guilt I feel about any betrayal to Roman Catholic White Jesus but the whole thing was just... A LOT
