I see a psychologist every other week for therapy, and she has a live-in office cat, a domestic longhair molly. I've been told I'm her (the cat's) favorite client, and I believe it. That cat has a face of pure bliss when I pet her, comes when she's called, and never stays mad at me for more than a moment when I do things she hates like trim her claws. Like, she's definitely friendly, but another person who good with cats and spent time with her, sees how she is with me and agrees that the two of us have a strong connection.
It makes me wonder if she can tell I'm not human, she knows I'm more like her than like a human and that's why she loves me so much. I feel like a cat around her, and would cuddle and groom her if I could shapeshift into my own domestic longhair form.
