I was so excited when the Sisterhood first became a thing cause yay! change! But now those who speak so loudly for this Sisterhood just went “nah, you and people like you and Eivor aren’t women”. And I’m incredibly disappointed by their hypocrisy.

But knowing that there’s people like you, who support us and help speak up, gives me hope.

Thank you for dropping this lovely message 🥺 It does suck that you (and others) thought you are part of something, just to find out that you are shunned because of narrow-minded standards set by from some founders and prominent members. 

I don’t have any bigwigs behind my back, just a one-woman army, but I welcome all women in my space and if I can give you and any other women out there this support and comfort, then I’m happy to know that I do my part, even if my effort is just a spec of sand in this desert.

I have a feeling there’s probably plot reasons for why they’re so plain looking. Like, Eivor drinks a potion to dive into the asgardian memories and my theories are:

1. Eivors faith kinda throws a filter over it subconsciously, what she’d imagine the gods to look like.

2. Odin messes with it, so that the gods’ true form (Isu markings etc.) are hidden. Only allow Eivor to see what he wants her to see.

I haven’t finished the game yet so all speculation but have a feeling that later on, we’ll see them in true Isu glory. But yeah point stands, the designs are shit....

Probably, but rn this turns me off sm I don’t even wanna continue to bother to find out. I’d still play the game because I have it, but it’s not gonna be like HZD, GOW, GoT, or even Odyssey that I want to play because I wanna know what’s gonna happen next. I gave up hope on character designs in Valhalla as soon as I see they reuse Kassandra, because apparently it’s too much effort to make a main character like Randvi to look like her concept art.

On the side note (not really a side), the mythical characters in GOW, just saying. They can pass for looking like humans too.
