A Cato’s brand, black velvet cape, size 3x. Yes, I bought a cape...originally sold by Cato’s. That’s odd on so many levels. Well...Halloween is coming up. Bought for $4.

Kokomo or "On the Beach"

I couldn't capture the full majesty of how hideous this shirt from Cato's (who does not sell online wtf) was on the hanger so here it is on me. There are studs on the tight tiny sleeves and the back of the shirt is basically half of a wrap skirt (apparently that's a thing now? Split backs or something.)

Cato's

Ava had been working the Sunday night shift every week for the past five months. Every night there was a man with who came in for one cup of regular black coffee. He always had a neat suit and fedora hat with him, placed on the table each time at the same time. She had asked other people about him and every one said he only came in when she was on shift. It was weird but they never thought more off it. But tonight she was going to research. She walked over with his coffee and smiled down at him "I still don't know your name sir?" she said softly.
