Catologue for Melbourne based curator Jake Treacy's exhibition Holy Lands, featuring ten artists exhibiting works of a celestial and nomadic nature.

The catalogue, printed in a limited colour pallet, on tactile newsprint alludes to the topics of the exhibition by creating paths for the viewer to navigate, both visually and physically.

Extensive footnotes are referenced by significant alchemic symbols, and positioned in such a manner that the reader is encouraged to fold inwards the bottom right corner.

PETERO ACCESSORIES CATALOG DESIGN by UTMEL

Hello again! :) So, roughly about 6-7 months ago, I got the opportunity to work on a catalog for Kusev Farm based in Kiserian, Kenya. It was my 1st independent project on somebody else’s marketing tools & I can say it was a bit of a challenge but, a great eye opener nonetheless as I market myself as a Graphic Designer.

Initially, I was hired as a Photographer but my fee was negligible so I managed to weigh in to do the design work to earn a little more— but owing it was more of a slight favour I couldn’t debate much to have it properly match the load & time spent- although I did get free lunch & transportation while I was on location :) anyway, let me know what you think...? The full catalog will be available for download on the kusev farm website if you'd like to see what cool stuff they have for sale.
