Catprint linen prints review — Luna Chai

I recently finished a bunch of sketches for Annette Week in a watery style, and it made me think that the prints would look good on linen stock.

Hi!! Thank you so much for running this page still, I refer many friends to this day to the blog who want to get into tabling in the GTA. I wanted to just mention since I saw this on the resources page, CatPrint shut down their Canadian printing house a few years ago so all prices on their site are in USD and if you are ordering from them you will likely be hit with customs fees since it'll be coming from across the border. Just thought it would be good to mention since this happened to me the last time I ordered from them, forgetting this fact

Re: CatPrint, oof, sorry to hear about that. The USD changes came to our attention back in 2018 (https://aatoast.tumblr.com/tagged/catprint) but none of the people behind this tumblr were actively using it so we had no further direct experience details. Thanks for letting us know and sharing your experience for everyone! We'll make a note on our resources page.

A general note to our followers - due to general life and the ongoing pandemic-and-everything-else situations, we (the artists behind AAtoast!) are still not actively attending in-person conventions and haven't had much spare time. So AAtoast! is now mostly sharing news about events and resources that cross our path. You'll notice our resources page hasn't been updated since 2018 :( but that's why we try to make "last updated" dates clear for people to be aware.

We recently reblogged some great posts by @webcomicresources including a fantastic masterlist of resources. That Tumblr is run by the people behind the ScreenTones webcomics podcast and includes Canadian experience. Their masterlist clearly indicates which companies are based out of Canada. Hope this helps, and consider giving them a follow as they produce some great content for creators!
