Hanekoma was weary from traveling so much, and honestly he wasn't sure if he could force himself to keep going. He was beginning to lose hope that he would ever see his Composer or his city again, and the void left behind where Shibuya's music used to reside was weighing on him like the world on Atlas's shoulders. He missed his home, he missed his friends, and though he had never before gotten to explore the expanse of worlds like this, what should have been an incredible journey was wearing away every time he was unsuccessful in locating those he cherished.
It was with great shock, then, that Hanekoma finally landed in a world where something distinctly familiar rang through his heart. It was so faint at first, hazy and dreamy, lost in the thick or this world, but it was there. A familiar tone dancing on the edges of something unique. The little world with amber streetlights and a music that tasted like smoke and honey as it wound its way around his soul. Yes, it was cute, and it was comforting even when it wasn't home, but there was another sound hiding in the folds of it's essence.
When he reached the Fourth District is when he finally heard it clearly. It was louder here than in other areas of the world, but the sound hit him like a train, faint but blaring in his chest. A sound that screamed Shibuya. He was forced to draw in a deep breath, to adjust himself and really take it in. Yes. Yes! Whatever was going on in this sleepy little place, it was definitely tied to his Shibuya.
He could have stood there and soaked in the music forever, but he didn't want to stick around too long. Now he had to seek out his Composer or any sign of life. He had to get information. He could have never guessed that the person he would run into first would be his number one fan. He had just managed to catch a glimpse of that brightly colored hair as he passed an alley, and the sight of it made him turn on his heel and chase it down, popping out into the plaza.
"Phones?" He called out, barely able to believe he wasn't dreaming.
