My biggest emotional trauma while living in Greece has always been the stray animal issue. No matter where I am or what I do, my mind is wondering whether my stray babies are safe. Cats are not as loved as dogs in Greece, so life is more rough for them. Someone once told me "in Greece every day is heartache for animals lovers". I find it hard to move on from that statement as it rings true time and time again. One day I'd like to have the power to do more for animals, humanity has wronged them for way too long. They're not inferiors, they're companions and friends for life ❤. Btw here's two of our boys having a bath. #pikecamp #greece has ended in Breath and Beauty. I had a spectacular time with every single person who showed up to pike with me and @heidisormaz and our fab assistant @victoriakourkaki. We laughed so hard everyday. We shared with each other. We learned from each other. I looked forward to every meal just so that I could spend quality time with an amazing group of humans from all over the world. Oh yes, and we lifted our butts.
