learned about medieval coil candles today and thought an ouroboros one would be cool I've been told the ouroboros candle looks like its flipping the viewer off and yeah I see it

Returning to the days when I did carefree infodumps about headworld stuff I'm almost definitely gonna change later. I think in this world a dragon's body is like a title you can inherit (or take) when it dies. There was an original at some point, but that was a while ago. Nobody's taking Tam's because he's hard to kill, but they might be able to slide first in line if he owed them a big enough favor or they had some kind of claim against him in life. He's the offspring of a cat spirit and a dragon 'dad'. That would explain 'dad's' side of the arrangement and where I can put it in my world. I don't have to make it strictly a dragon, I can put anything I want in the lineage.

Though I will probably be boring and just put people there. The dragon comes with asshole genes that shove everything else out of the way. Tam would be a lot rougher/meaner if Ivan hadn't used the psychic link in the hammerspace to inspire him to think differently (more slyly) when he was young. I also think the dragon is filling some kind of niche- maybe guarding something like a Faerie pocket world- and it can't just not exist. It has to go somewhere and that's why it persists. But I also hate setting rules for headworld stuff and this is a first (third?) draft and will change.

If I went this road plenty of people would rather he be dead so the dragon would be up for grabs, which would be fun. Anyway, I also added some art of him as a stupid baby before anyone realized he existed and was going to be a problem.
