In a bit of a drunken state, the demon gripped his glass bottle to smash it over the head of the man on his left, before swiftly ramming the sharpened end into the throat of the one at his right, causing him to fall over. "How's that for a scale covered freak?" He hissed, tossing a cloth down over the now bleeding man.

He must have been very blessed, Dite decided, to be born on a feast day of Lady Mara. Love was one of the best things to be blessed with, she decided that too. Second to her own temple's days of celebration, Mara's were her second favorite. That was the reason she stood on tiptoe to lay a wreath of lilies on his head.
