Commission: 1/43 Ari Vatenan - Manx international rally - Opel manta 400: 'Dear God' is what I shouted myself when I found the actual gate on Google maps and found outs actually a cattle grid 🤦🏻♂️ this piece has challenged me because all I've been working from is a couple of blurry screenshots from YouTube and a painting of the moment... However finding this sacred place has fueled something awesome! I've gone flat out and installed a cattle grid I into the piece to reflect the real location, this did mean I had rework one of the gates I'd made into the scene but have a swipe through the pics to see step by step how I made the cattle grid....
