Well we're looking for 2 volunteers to help us at the Wilsonville PetSmart. We have two Wednesday shifts available: one before 1 p.m. and another one after 5 p.m. The shifts run 1 to 2 hours. We're looking for people who love spending time with the kitties; will let them out, play with them, and pet them; and then do some light cleaning of their enclosures. One of my fav episodes is Sea Me Now, because me and teddy both have issues with ex's, and bob saying "you don't need to let them know you're alright, you can just DO alright" helps me so much?? Also just the show in general is so wholesome and inclusive!! The way Gene is so self confident about his body helps me a lot with my own. And how the parents are okay with having a chubby kid?? Like when Gene said he'll be up for his 3am cheese plate and bob said he'd go make it?? Makes me SO happy

yes! absolutely!!! all of the belcher kids are so unselfconsciously themselves, receiving the full support of their parents and siblings, and its such a fucking breath of fresh air? like even those instances where the other family members don’t quite get it (like, bob with the equestranauts, or louise with the thundergirls) they still make an effort to engage and understand (bob having a similar moment w linda in “eat spray linda” is also hands-down one of my favorite parts of that episode.)

i also just...fucking love gene’s security in his sense of self so gotdamn much. i love whenever he casually refers to himself as a girl and both tina and louise are just “hell yeah you’re our sister”. gene’s so very proud of every element of himself and that’s just. such good shit. 

thank you bob’s burgers for the wholesome, supportive, loving, nontraditional family interactions that we as a people deserve
