Playing through Mass Effect 1, 2 and 3 for the very first time ever.  Kasumi Goto is basically if Ezio Auditore and Catwoman adopted a Japanese orphan. She’s got Selina's skills and Ezio's fashion sense  <3

What got you into shipping Catzio?

It’s really funny you mention this because it happened before I even played Assassin’s Creed! My friends and I got together and set up a multi-fandom roleplay that was one part Final Fantasy: Dissidia and one part Legend of Zelda (instead of the characters siding with Chaos or Cosmos, they aligned with parts of the Triforce: Courage, Wisdom, or Power). I was playing Catwoman from Arkham City, and my friend played Ezio Auditore. This was before I played Assassin’s Creed so I didn’t know anything about the character at all, but just from the first couple of scenes between these two characters, I instantly fell in love. I looked into the character a bit more, ended up playing the game, fell in love even more. Sadly that roleplay was short lived, but it was okay. Because a year or so later, my friends and I made a new one.

This time around, it was roleplay in which fictional characters began to manifest within our world and had no idea how they got there, and had to learn pretty quickly how to adjust to their surroundings. Ezio and Selina both ended up in modern day Rome and bumped into each other quite by accident. They hit things off pretty well: what was supposed to be just a one night stand, friends-with-benefits, part-time partners-in-crime relationship that was mostly sexual and just for fun suddenly started becoming a little more complicated than that. It probably took Selina a bit longer to fall in love with him but he was already smitten from the start and grew to love her as the story progressed. It was actually one of the most fascinating, romantic, and yet strangely in-character relationships we’ve pulled off in our RP’s, and we’ve been doing this for quite some time. lol

Here is that fanfic,by the way. I went from not updating in like a million years to updating two chapters in the past two nights. Still have no idea where I’m going with this but let’s all find out together!
