okay so. i still don’t have an official name (although i have some very awesome place-holders) and as you all know, it’s a sci-fi book based heavily in Brazilian culture and our day-to-day life, so there’s a lot of world-building details that i’m still working on, but i have the story and characters pretty much set up!
and oh god i love my characters a lot!! rosa, cauã and maya mean the world to me right now and i can’t stop thinking or talking about them. they all come from different backgrounds. rosa is the daughter of a celebrity couple, cauã is the president’s son, maya is a farmer from another planet. their journeys are so different but in my head they match so well. like.
rosa’s story is about love and passion. she loves her family, she loves setting things on fire, she loves her girlfriend, and she loves these two idiot friends she makes in the most weirdest of ways. i would say much more, but she is high key the main-main character so i’m keeping her a secret for now.
cauã’s arc is about feeling like he is trapped into the life of politics. his family insists on having him follow his father’s footsteps, controlling everything he does. but he ends up breaking through that control and becoming the person he always wanted to be.
maya’s arc is about the change her grief brings and the guilt that comes with being one of the only necromancers in the galaxy.
and idk!!! i just love them so much and i can’t wait until i’m done writing this book so y’all can properly meet them.
